Google's search needs badly to be updated.. I view twitter as a real time search engine and use it as such to find the latest posts on any subject. I have had situations where i have posted fresh content on my sites with no other results worldwide to be found and it has taken Google 2 and a half weeks to display it in results even though my stats show them visiting my site everyday!

Worse is when you spend years building a site and a first time marketer that puts one article on a "hot" new site that google loves and gets a top ranking!
