iPhone’s Launching will be announced on 9th of June

Gizmodo has been informed by “a confidential source”

“A confidential source” has informed the well-known gadget Site Gizmodo that Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs is going to announce the arrival of 3rd Gen iPhone in Worldwide Developers Conference that will held on June 9.It has been further stated that the iPhone will be immediately available after this announcement.

According to Gizmodo’s report the new phone will be available in markets till mid-June and Apple has no intention to hold the new Phone by the end of the year as some surrounding rumors and speculations are suggesting.

The phone will be sold under Spanish Telecommunications Company Telefonica which is going to open its new megastore in Gran via building that is one of Madrid’s great historic buildings. The report further tells that after one day of opening 3rd Gen iPhone will be accessible allover the country.

Similarly, in the other European countries the new iPhone will be available within this mid-June time frame. The American users could get the phone within that period if the report is right.

According to Greg Sterling who is principal analyst at Sterling Market research that launching of 3rd Gen version in Europe has great importance for Apple as it’s not less than an uphill climb for the company. They will have to face a tough competition with Nokia who enjoys a lion share in European market. Things will be totally different in European Market if they are compared to the U.S.

So far rumors about pricing are concerned, Sterling opines that pricing policy is “Shifting” as there is a sequence of inclusive carrier deals in European market. The results of a recent study show that almost 50 percent of iPhone getters have shifted to AT&T to make them able to use an iPhone.
