The EU is searching for the newest ways to catch terrorists. It is also looking for the latest methods of brain scanning because it could be a new way to weed them completely.
These scans are developed by the Humabio and it is located in Greece. Humabio stands for the Human Monitoring and Authentication using Biodynamic Indicators and Behavioral Analysis.
These scans are meant for searching the different patterns of brain when people go through various different checks. Moreover they are meant to use in different sensitive locations like airports and borders.
This will help in catching those people who forge documents successfully. It is important to note here that this research is not able to show clearly how much time these scans will take.
The Humabio projects are mostly funded by the organization of EU. Moreover they have also researched on the ways of calculating heart beats in order to achieve the same effect. They can monitor the posture of truck drivers as well in order to identify when the vehicle was used by an unauthorized person.
This project is basically designed for testing in the future rather than delivering the technology swiftly. It has also researched on the other methods of recognizing the suspects by measuring their gait and faces.
It is not for the first time that researchers have been looking for the option of brain mapping in order to catch the terrorists. In Israel many researchers have been working on the same system for their security.
