There is a new Nikon model in the market – the Nikon Coolpix P100. It’s really quite extraordinary, you have many shooting options which are built around a high-speed CMOS sensor, and a 26x megazoom lens. With this camera, you get photo and video shooting on high speeds, and the opportunity to play around with fun modes, plus you can experiment as much as you want. Add to that the fact that you get 1080p HD-quality movie recording. The Nikon Coolpix P100 has easy-to-operate controls; you just need some time to get used to them by reading the manual. The camera itself costs a fair amount, approximately 400 dollars – quite a large sum of money for many people. It weighs about 17 ounces, is of 10 megapixels, and comes with a 3-inch LCD screen.

So how’s the P100 different from the P90? Well, the zoom has been extended to 26x (so you can see really far ahead of you), and while the P90 had 12-megapixel CCD sensor, this particular model has a backside-illuminated 10-megapixel CMOS sensor. This improves the speed of shooting, and the level of noise in low-light photos is considerably reduced. In fact, you also get the option of a few specialty shooting modes. The feel of this P100 camera is rather good; it’s also a compact model. It’s a good grip, and the camera itself has sensor-shift image stabilization, which Nikon refers to as Optical VR. This stabilization minimizes the level of blur, and if you combine this with Nikon’s Best Shot Selector, you stand a much better chance of a sharp shot of a stationary subject.

The Nikon Coolpix P100 also has a rather good electronic viewfinder, and if you want to frame up your shots, then that too is possible with a vari-angle LCD. This pulls out of the body, and can be tilted up or down, but it doesn’t swing out from the body horizontally. The controls of the camera are responsive and also comfortably placed. You’ll find the Mode Dial, power button, and the shutter release with zoom ring on the top. At the left of the EVF, you’ll find the button for moving from information viewing on the EVF or LCD and a diopter adjustment dial.

On the right of that is a Display button which allows you to change the information you view on the display, there is also a Movie record button which a switch, that allows you to choose what kind of video you would like to shoot – high speed or regular. There is also a horizontal dial which allows you to change aperture settings and shutter speed; you can also zip through images and videos in playback.

The P100 is a decent buy because you get many shooting options – right from full manual and semi-manual options with shutter speeds from 8 seconds to 1/2000 second, and an aperture range of 10 steps of 1/3 exposure value. You also get many scene modes, as well as auto scene recognition and subject-tracking autofocus meant for moving subjects.

The new Lenovo ThinkPad T410 is the very latest in its range of business notebooks. This 14.1 inch laptop, with its Core i5 CPU and sleek design, promises high levels of performance. The design of this particular laptop is rather nice – the sides are angularly shaped, and there is a new stylish keyboard/LCD light layout. The system, as a result, looks not only attractive but also more modern. This laptop also promises to be more durable, because of the materials used. The lid in the chassis is made from ABS plastic and a strong carbon-fiber reinforced plastic bottom. And if you are worried about your notebook getting damaged, don’t worry as there is an internal roll cage.

This laptop weighs about 5.2 pounds, there is a standard 6-cell battery, in size and weight it’s almost equivalent to the Lenovo ThinkPad T400, but this one is different in the sense that it is more compact, and far easier to carry around. This is probably due to the tapered edges as well as the plastic bottom.

You will see the ThinkPad logo on the black rubberized screen, the shiny matte-black chassis and palm rest are also there – as with previous models, and of course, the strong and visible stainless steel screen hinges are also there. But there are more ports than with previous models, and also some new types of connections. The bottom of the laptop has also changed – there is now a user-access panel which allows you to install more RAM, or even a wireless card, without having to open up your notebook.

Overall, the build still seems more or less the same – but there are a few negative things to say here. Firstly, the screen lid seems a little weak on the left side – thus pressure applied to the lid shows as distortion of the LCD. This is just true for the left side of the screen cover, though. Another point is the access panel at the bottom – this is quite weak because it bows slightly when installed, and flexes much more than any surrounding panel. Perhaps a metal panel might have worked, who knows?

All the T410 models come with LED backlighting now. But there hasn’t been much change in the increase or decrease of display quality, from the previous models. There is good color reproduction as well as contrast, on the WXGA screen, but unfortunately there is a slight blue tint as compared to a neutral white. The speakers are also of pretty good quality – you can easily fill a small room with the sound, but the bass and the midrange seem a little low.

The keyboard is also pretty much the same – but there is a new function key layout, for example the Escape and Delete buttons have been increased in size, and a backlit power button and a microphone mute button have also been added. In fact, if you are one of those people who like the Control key being the last in the row, there is a new feature which allows you to change the Function and Control keys through specific software!

Motorola H720

Motorola H720 is a Bluetooth headset, which carries the flip boom design of H17, H15 and H710.It’s a black plastic body while the buttons and the boom mike are shiny silver in appearance. This headset is about 1.65 inches long and 1.06 inches wide with 0.79-inch thickness. There is an inset oval above the Motorola logo which performs as a multifunction button. One can find it easily and it’s very easy to handle as well. There is a tiny LED indicator on the button. The volume controls are available on either sides of the headset. On the top, the charger jack is available which is easy to open or close the boom mike. Therefore it is convenient to turn the headset on and off.

One can find a different earpiece by flipping the headset upside down. It is a flat plastic object with three speaker holes cut out from the protrusion. The earpiece can be inserted at the opening of the ear. There is a flexible ear hook with a rubber tip at the back of the headset that sits around the ear. It’s a glossy headset created with the latest technology. This headset helps in making phone calls a better experience and the external noise is well reduced. Another added advantage is echo cancellation, which is a big relief for people making distant calls.

Rapid Connect is another added feature with on and off flip which helps to answer and close calls quickly. This feature helps us to save battery. This headset is light weighted and so it’s easy to carry. There is an adjustable hook that rests against the ear and the talk time is up to eight hours.

One can speak from two different Bluetooth cell phones using the same headset. The LED colors will indicate the cell phone to which the person is connected with.

When the background volume gets higher, the headset volume will automatically get adjusted.

The call quality is good and the price is reasonable. The other usual features such as answering, ending and rejecting calls, redial and voice dial support are also provided. In addition to that one can transfer calls from the headset to the phone and vice versa.

With all these features, there are some drawbacks too. The callers find some inconveniences with this headset. Some callers find the earpiece with the hook to be slightly loose and have an illusion that it might slip off. While pairing the Motorola H720 with the Apple iPhone 3G, the quality of the call seems to be loud and clear. But it doesn’t sound great. A caller could hear the background noise with a little amount of echo. For instance, when a person travels by car, there are chances of getting distracted by the engine noise or any other external noise. It would certainly create a problem during unfavorable weather conditions or crowded environments.

To conclude, the building of this headset is a great effort with its own specialties.

There are some drawbacks that could have been avoided. Yet, it is a great handset symbolizing the advantages of latest technology.

In recent years, it has gained a wide reputation in making very good products for its customers to get benefited from. It is struggling hard to keep the same pace of other industrial monopolists, Like Nokia, Samsung, Motorola etc, and have been quite successful in making a hype of HTC Phones and new launches or the press releases. Now people do want to know more about what HTC Phones are planning, making and bringing the next. Or what is so special about a specific model. Till now they have been quite successful in making a benchmark for honest products and by giving excellent support back to its customers.

HTC’s Smartphones are now capable to get accessed to manage some of the features from your computer without installing heavy software in the system. It is basically a version of Motorola Phone tools in collaboration with the American manufacturers. By using this, you can edit, view, delete the contacts, you can edit and add bookmarks in the browser and a lot more.

HTC Phones Company has also launched a new portal from where you can access the portal to gain any type of information you require, it does not matter what system you are using Windows or Linux. You can even connect to it by availing the Wi-Fi facility.

It is noted that HTC Portal has a great compatibility with HTC phones, to gain the maximum for its users.

The Canon Powershot G series has unleashed some incredible features coming with the newly upgraded cameras. They all bring a formidable presence and are a must for the amateur or the really adept photographer. There have been compact cameras as well as experimental cameras of high flamboyance coming from the house of Canon. This again is a compact set that is ideal for the keen photographer on the go.

This brings a great point of view to your photographic journaling and allows you the freedom and space with its swift efficacy. It has got definite ways to bring zoom in range, proper flexibility, lens adjustment, built-in quality of high manual control as well as some of the greater flexible resources that help for better photographic skills that you would love to develop. There are bright and convincing lens specialization that bring in proper performance and control of major light performance activities. The Panasonic’s LX3 is also one of the greater sources of bringing in these facilities of high quality as well as effective control feature to the camera.

There are certain important sides of exploring your creative genius that can only be done through a really great camera. The G11 seems to work best with some of the most interesting positions. There are no conflicts in it in regards to some of the greater incorporation of the Canon facilities. There is high sensitivity reward allowing for the model to work in countless ways. There are no specific disadvantages as reported by any reviewer while using this particular model. The whole image along with larger file sizes come through higher and greater pixels. They have a long extending memory card that can bring in greater complication through application of demosaicing and bringing noise reduction facilities.

The larger photos can be adjusted through pixel dense sensor looks and they can thus receive more light into their grains through this way. This model thus works as a great flagship compact that works as a handy all-rounder coming from the house of Canon. The same exposure that is understood through larger pictures can be used in the less dense and lower pixel sensors.

The body style of this particular camera can be traced back to G7 and there are many existing G-series processes that can be owned through the reduction of some of the latest features. The new features are definitely quite handy and one who gets used to them will find more problems adjusting to these new aspects. There happens to be step by step re-inclusion of new ranges of developments coming across these. The final resolution definitely gives a clearer picture with all the related resources coming through steadily.

It is overall a well featured camera that can bring in some swiveling density to work with the new features. This is appealing to many people who want to experiment with new styles in photography. The G10 got released and soon enough Panasonic and Olympus saw their respective components thrown big into the competition. The G11 from Canon is however larger than that and throws back a lot of competition of its shoulders.

LG introduces another handset in a completely different and original design. LG’s first Android Intouch Max GW620. Usually all the manufacturers stress on the home screen and the keyboard outlook but in this case the lower half seems to have taken the attention of the LG designers. This new approach venture has proved its worth and it stands successfully launched. The Korean firm gets all the credit for the beautiful designed handset. The market ‘win win’ strategy is well set.

LG Intouch Max GW620 is in direct competition with HTC Tattoo but having some added advantages. This is not being considered as cost heavy in any way. The LG S-Class interface is similar but Intouch Max has better functions. This handset has a smaller body only 3.2 inch HVGA. Intouch Max houses a handsome keyboard with smartly laid out buttons besides he keys. This appears to be a better option when matched to the larger and tougher Google Nexus One phone coming with 3.7 inch OLED large screen. On the whole this appears to be a good presentation in its field.

The LG Max has well shaped contours on all around the body. The smooth shinny plastic adds to its classic style. This bell shaped unique mobile phone is light weight but feels good solid in the hand.

The power/lock button and the 3.5mm headphone socket lie at the top. The socket is raised a bit to keep headphone jack flush with the body. This is good thinking as the exposed metal of the jack is often pushed further by many which could damage it. This shows a very objective design setting.

LG has also installed the largely popular media contact with a dedicated music key near the camera shutter button. This feature first appeared in LG New Chocolate BL 40. The users liked it particularly the music fans. The micro SD cards allow extra memory storage. The slot on the side allows quick and easy swapping. Be noted that some Android hand sets put the memory cards under the battery, which at times seems very awkward. So hats off to LG Intouch Max GW620 for a good move.

The left hand side has the basics. The volume rocker is there for easy access. The micro USB slot has a very convenient release gate. The front three keys handle the actual Android functions. The buttons are touch sensitive, home and back and menu keys. The other Android hand phones (Google) have a different layout, so watch out when switching over to LG Intouch Max GW 620.

LG Intouch Max spread good looks when it lies flat on the table top or stands upright. The Qwerty keyboard gives it a wider width to a slight extent. This is felt when the phone is put in the pocket, giving it a seemingly heavier feel in comparison to thinner devices available in the market. But that is not a discomfort in any way. It is just like a difference of opinion when one is inclined towards other set.

LG Intouch Max keyboard slides out with extreme ease and without effort. When fully extended it clicks. The Qwerty buttons nicely placed along with the four directional keys. The numbers are conveniently spread out making tapping a message a swift job. Moving from one key to another is just like surfing across the keyboard, writing and correcting.

The compatibility of this decent keyboard is considered the best than comparable other models like Blackberry Bold 9700, Motorola Milestone and Nokia N97. The wide bottom side is quite spacey that has facilitated the beautiful and appealing keyboard designing.
