olympus-e-420.jpg If you are into the retro styling, Olympus will be launching a new entry level 10 mega-pixel DSLR camera just for you in April. From what we can understand from the press release, it is a no compromise, value for money DSLR and it does its job as good as its peers but in a very compact body . They have also introduced a retro-styled camera case which completes the whole retro theme by attaching to the body! The case will be available in black, brown or white and made out of leather.

Coming on to the features, it is easily one of the smallest and lightest D-SLRs without compromising on any of the features when compared with the competition. Don’t mistake its slender figure, the E-420 packs a punch with its 10 Megapixel Live MOS sensor that provides crisp and detailed photos, the E420 offers Live View on a LCD screen measuring 2.7 inches, it can shoot at a respectable 3.5 fps rate when in continuous shooting mode, comes with a dust reduction system that Olympus calls the Supersonic Wave Filter and 28 different shooting modes, yes you read it right! They have come up with 28 different modes for probably every different shooting and lighting condition that there could ever be imagined!
