Europe is one of the privileged corners of the world to have HP’s all new updated Pavilion line launched exclusively for it! The new revamped version of HP Pavilion has replaced the regular HD DVD option found in the older versions and models with an addition of high definition Blu -ray drives across the board, which can be hit upon in the Pavilion dv2800, dv6800 and dv9800 series. The best part about it is that the processors can be of ones choice of either Core 2 Duo or Turion 64 X 2 and the displays of the series measure 14.1 inch, 15.4 inch, 17 inch respectively with 1280 x 800 pixels WXGA, 1280 x 800 pixels WXGA Bright View Widescreen High definition and 1440 x 900 WXGA with Bright View Widescreen High definition respectively. The 17 inch model comes with the Blu - ray burner too. Apart from this, based on the model and the type, it comes with integrated graphics or NVIDIA Ge Force 8400M or 8600M.

Even in the desk top variety, the company has updated and replaced its HDX – 9000 desktop model series with an all new and power - packed HDX- 9300 (which also comes with the Blu – ray drive, the Penryn T8100 or T9300 processors, 3GB of DDR2 667 MHz up to 4 GB, two discs SATA 160 GB 5400 rpm, and a powerful NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTS with 512 MB memory graphics card, TV tuner, fingerprint reader, 5 in 1 card reader, Wi – fi a/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0 +, infrared, e-SATA and weighs just about 7 kgs) and Pavilion tx2300, which is a tablet PC that is packed with a AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60 processor, 2GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 graphics, memory of 2 GB, 250 GB SATA 5400 rpm and a standard DVD burner.

The launch of the newest series of models has not yet been announced and the brand has not even quoted the pricing of its products in line. Though these versions are to be launched in the European countries initially, they will also be launched worldwide soon after.
